Tennis starts at whatever age you wish!
We start our coaching at the grass roots with tots and mini tennis. This is a graduated learning method for juniors aged 3 or 4 years through to 9 or 10 years old. Introduced by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in 2001 it is designed as a traffic light system with entry level at red moving up to orange then green with the court size and equipment adapted accordingly to age and ability. The system has grown to be a world wide accepted method of beginning tennis with the aim to attract and keep youngsters playing the game of tennis. We know that if they enjoy tennis they will stick with it.

Our juniors make progress as they move through the system at a speed that suits their ability. If a player has reached a level where their commitment and talent is recognised as being greater than normal it is probably time to start considering squad or performance tennis. Park Tennis aim is to build a base big enough to offer squad and performance tennis. In the meantime Park Tennis will help direct players to local clubs offering junior performance programme.
